Florida, regardless of what people think, is not all fun in the sun with beautiful riding weather 24/7/365. We are in a phase of about 4-5 weeks of good riding then come April the monsoon season will begin in which case it'll be 90+° with 90% humidity with at least some rain almost everyday and will last until the middle of September. This year for example the rainy season lasted through October. Then a few weeks of good riding and it gets down into the 40's.

You should probably sell your bike then.

I think the riding is awesome nearly all year, just dress for the weather and carry rain gear if you don't want to get damp. Last year it rained more than usual, but this winter has been incredible.

man i love hitting the rain showers in the summer. get cooled off and dryed off by the next stop. see you at the crossroads . and there are lots of good riding here. you have to stay off the main roads. so many places with big oak trees that cover the roads. beautiful horse farms. its the best Fl has to offer. stay out of the cities. and by the by good eats as well. there is NO good riding east of 75 or there abouts

I've never worn a rain suit or a pair of chaps for that matter. I can't imagine how you think you stay dry in the rain while dressing up in what amounts to a plastic bag in the Florida heat and 100% humidity during the summer. The way people down here burden themselves with all that ATGATT nonsense if you put on a rain suit over that you might as well wear a crock pot!
