I know this is not the place, but my heart bleeds and ya'll are my new ridin family.. whether you like it or not~ Quick summery...
For about four years... before gettin my Train.. I rode a Busa~ Not unlike this place, I found one of the best forums for those of us that love our bikes~ The Busa family is a lot like the family I've found with my HD... a tight knit group that would go out of their way to help another in need~ I met and rode with a whole lot of really good people~ Attended the Annual Busa Bash at Deal's Gap almost every year.. up until I got the Train~ One of the key member's and all around good person was known as Vman1300... Kevin was his real name~ For a fairly big man, he could ride the wheels off a sport bike.. draggin knees along the way~ He was always the first to offer up parts or help to anyone that needed it.... didn't matter what you rode~
I still visit the site and try to keep in touch with my Busa family.. although not as much anymore as I do here~ Today I stopped in only to find out that Kevin has lost his two year fight with colon cancer~ It's a very sad day... the world has lost another good man~ Here's a few pics of my friend, Kevin..
not from Florida but also an ex-Busa rider here (just sold my '01 before I could get back to a Harley). Was he on hayabusa.org? My prayers for Kevin, his family and friends.
