3rd Annual Florida Rally
As for the routes, I think we talked about having a list for everyone to sign up. If I can get some routes early enough, I can print up a couple of maps of each route. This way, if someone wants to do their own ride, and do not have a GPS, they have something as a guide. Just a thought.

What sort of routes do you want? How far? Where to? How many? I know the area around here reasonably well and can get some routes if you want. Let me know.
Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been thinking of writing a short history of "The Florida Crew" in a thread of this section.

However, if you have a route that you just love, then map it out, make a GPS file and post it. The routes should be no more than 3-4 hours in length.

Like last year, I will put up a "Ride Pack" on my Server with the GPS files in universal .gpx format so they can be downloaded. These files should work for anyone with a GPS that supports loadable "Route Files".
I someone wants to submit a ride/route for inclusion in the Ride Pack, please do not wait until the last minute. It takes time to get the data converted into a GPS map and checked for accuracy and GPS idiosyncrasies.
As we found out last year, routes that cross back over themselves really confuse a GPS and require extra work to ensure they run properly.

If you want to submit a route, please do so prior to Oct. 1st.
Since we always have a few "technically challenged"
people who want a paper map, a volunteer who want's to make said maps would be useful.
