Well now...... Not quite sure how to read this.....
First off, we are NOT competing with any other rally and it is only in our own minds that we call it a rally. If you're expecting vendors, rock & roll bands, and naked women, then this isn't going to be any fun for ya.
In an OLD SCHOOL fashion we make our own good time and laugh among each other on silly stuff. Most everyone shows up on a bike, so if it didn't get there on 2 wheels, it ain't there. BUT- there will be plenty of beer, some food being shared, poker games, camaraderie that is shared from the bottom of people's heart, and we end up laughing into the wee hours of the night at a place that enjoys our business (Days Inn). We have semi-organized cruises through the countryside, no one is left behind.
We don't care what ya ride, we don't care how ya dress, and all we ask for is your friendship.
This ain't no religious gathering, and ain't a place to get your man-card punched either. Some of us know each other, a lot will meet for the first time.
I suggest you hang around this Florida Crew Section, read some crazy threads (just about any of them), and realize that no of us take too much too seriously.
We ALL want our little "rally" to grow, but believe me, we are NOT out to meet anyone's expectations. None of us can control whether you have a long ride or not, and I'm only pretty-sure that someone among us will hit your funny bone.
I would be more than happy to plan or assist in planning the rides again. I had Crackers and Gator Joe's reserved for us (you guys were too tuckered out for Gator Joe's) the first year. Here are two more great (just my opinion) destinations within about an hour of the Days Inn.
