Okay, I know when I started this thread I didnt expect to be out a quarter of the YEAR!!!
I have procrastinated and now that I am fully committed and working on the bike I have found a new delay. It's the special order of parts! I have even ordered and received parts from friends and ebay which turn out to be a mismatched model or design! Ugh!
I am currently waiting on a special tool to remove the cam chain to replace the sproket that ran the blower. I do believe I need to replace that speoket but before i spill another HD (Hundred dollars) on the part, I wanna take this one off and see if its added to current sprocket or replaces original.
As you have read the Manufacturer is of absolute no help, So I am winging this as the newbie mechanic I am.
Jim called me today and mentioned how you guys were (probably raggin on me) talkin bout me, Man I sure do miss the Crew!! Damn my lazy ***!
I promise you I am working on the bike every chance I get from now on! I sure hope its ready by the time the rally is here!!
