I cycle on a racing bicycle on a regular basis. A few months ago the club I ride with was doing our normal Saturday monring ride. Fortunately I was not with them this particular day. 3 guys were well ahead of the main group and had just crossed an intersetion 1 mile from my house. There were 2 cars approaching the intersetion from their right. One a-hole in a car passed the one ahead of it on the right, going onto the grass to get around it. He hit all tree cyclists that were in the bike lane.
2 of the cyclists were airlifted to the trauma center in Ft. Lauderdale.... the 3rd one went to the morgue.
The driver of the car was charged with driving to endanger, and driving without a license. No, manslaughter charges, nothing. His license had been suspended for reckless driving in the past.

Sad, I bet it was a BMW, Mercedes, Audi.
