There were some postings about the lady who killed a motorcyclist while painting her fingernails in May and some understandable (to me anyway) outrage about the lack of charges.
She has now been indicted by a grand jury on 6 counts including reckless homicide. The State's Attorney reported that the original charges were dropped to avoid any 'double jeopardy' issues resulting from lower charges or fines.

Justice is personal. No matter what the court system does--some will say it is not enough and others might say it is too harsh. Glad they are finally bringing charges and this at least has to play out in court. The stupid woman took a life and left the victims family with a life time of loss.
