Ahight... don't get yer panties in a bunch... ya old fogies. Just had to ask. I know we (I) tried the mp3 hooked to speakers last year, but it didn't seem to go off to well. Now I can understand why. I guess Boston was just too much for the old ears. Me, I like all music, that's not gangsta rap, so Banjo's, Harps, Oboe's, makes no difference to me. So long as it's music.

Its easy in all the excitement to want to do things bigger and better. I think what we have is great, not to beat a dead horse but lets keep it simple and just have a good time hangin with the bro's.
I understand BD attempt to help some band buddies out and pumpin the rally up (we all like a good band), but honestly I'd rather us not turn into a huge state wide event like heartland or something.
If it aint broke, don't fix it.
But I'm just one in the crowd of many, I just go with the flow.

Dale and I talked about bands and the problem that arises

Electricty and a stage. Band equipment draws alot of amps and running thru cords would be a danger. Also no stage for them

I actually spoke to Lisa and that really wouldn't have been the problem. It was the masses did not want to take away attention of the real reason we were all there in the first place.

Yeah SP!!... that's what I'm talkin 'bout. Gotta keep up with times. I remember when Metalica first came to the forefront.. made me feel old and out of time. After being bombarded with their radio hits.. I came to like them afterall. New and different flavors just take time to sweeten the palet. Blues will always be my favorite genre, but I still love it all...

....and when 'the band' is playing a Gator Joes, we can all go and have a blast watching them. The BAND wants to get their NAME out? Well, they would do better there than at a hotel parking lot.
Again..there may be other guests at the hotel, that...oh, I don't know...want to sleep?
The band should call some places nearby and volunteer their abilities (since you ask for gas money...a bar should pony up that at least).
Then again.....get 50 people (I made up the number) not afiliated with 'the florida crew'
in to watch the mosh pit.....suddenly someones seat is missing, and ol'what's-her-names
purse is gone. Suddenly, someone is sitting on someones bike, a bottle of tequilla is smashed against a wall and the 'trunk monkey' button is pushed.
(I remember my wedding night just fine, thanks.)

Sound familiar?
