I know a lot of people expressed interest in the Arizona ride this spring. I will be going unless something drastic happens to prevent it. It would be nice to know who is going and how they plan to get there so we can organize rides, trucks, trailers etc.. I know Jerry will be master-blasting there and back but will be riding a little too hard for me probably. I will have to trailer to get there and back in time to be able to enjoy the AZ back roads. If anyone is on the fence about this I would suggest doing it. Arizona riding is like a whole different world from Florida. And to be able to do it as a group like this is an opportunity of a lifetime. so... who's in????
I will do it, might be a fly and ride for me with the Hoka Hey event, Think it will be a good warm up going through the mountains and in the desert. I am looking forward to this ride. Let me know as soon as dates are locked so I can schedule.

Thought I'd jump in here, since I'm a transplant to Tucson from Sarasota. If any of you are even thinking about coming out this way for the ride, all I can say is "Just Do It" the riding is perfect. Besides, you showed Joe, Donna and Dean such a good time when they were in FL you've got to give the AZ Riders an opportunity to reciprocate.
The TUC crew is looking forward to meeting and showing you around southern AZ.
I thought the participants were already locked in and plans were set.
You all were talking about it during the ride to Fernandina Beach...
A one week drive/ride and return from Arizona...
A day and a half there. Rest 6 ours. Day and a half (maybe two) back.
That leaves a day to unpack and repack. A day...(24 hours total) to drink.
Ride for 12 hours (split into three hour runs). Heck.....got about 16 hours left over!
Too crazy for me.
Plus I may be wanted on outstanding child support warrant in Arizona. Could be New Mexico....since states there, they all look alike.
(I am just trying to find reasons to think of NOT to go.....)
Murph, Flagstaff is about 4 or 5 hours from Phoenix up in the hills. There might still be snow there when we go but it is definatly close enough to do.
