The indy is correct, the fork travel you are experiencing is "normal", but in my opinion unacceptable. The front end felt like it was wallowing through turns along with severe front end dive when braking. What did the indy suggest you do about the 30 mph shake?
What stiffened it up the first time around was using the SE Heavy fork oil and stock springs. The Progressive Drop-in springs, lowered 1" with the heavy oil did not make it any stiffer, just a noticeably smoother ride. Another method is to mixed Type E and SE Heavy for a little smother ride.
they siad dont worry about it oh yea like i am not going to worry about it. i am thinking i might still do it anyways. cant hurt one bit
ahhhh screw it taking the forks off and taking them to an indy or dealer and having them do it. thank you murph for letting me listening to the video. after hearing that and looking at the manual and the special tools that is needed its just better off i take it to them and have it done right.
