Yeah I think I enjoyed myself in the cold wet hills too much today, I am in Cornelia Ga at a Mc Donalds having my first bite of food today. I am freezing and wet as hell, enjoying every minute of it. Ran the Dragon north to south, not one bike in sight, waited at the lodge to warm up a bit so I could move my legs and shift a little better, not one bike in a half hour. I did not take the Dragon at cHarley speed as there was mushy leaves in the road, didnt want to crash as I was riding alone and no one here to find and ID the body for the wifes big payday. I have to say I enjoyed riding 28 more than the Dragon, the Dragon keeps ya too busy, 28 is just a nice cruising ride. Did have 3 cars pull up the the lodge, people get out wearing Harley clothing, had one of their wives take a pic of me, the place was empty other than that. I visited the property I wanted to see, ended up going past the place and rode 4 miles of dirt roads in the rain, mighty slick on a Ultra, was wishing I had TJD's Kawi, the hardball road leading up there was a 1 laner and scary as hell, much more so than the Dragon. I love riding up here, the heated gloves work great but need warmer pants as my ole man skinny *** legs get colder quicker these days. I might wuss out and get a hotel up here tonight as there are a lot of horned critters moving at night because the good people of Ga are trying to hunt them down all day long, dont need a hood ornament (plus the wife told me to get a room). Wish you all wre here today even if you dont.
