I get two impressions between the written accounting, and the video. The writtne one lead me to believe that after the van passed between the two bikes he rode up next to the van. But the video gives no such indication.

According to officials, when the Nogueras drove to the right side of the van, the driver of the van swerved and hit him.....that's what the newspaper says....

I just couldn't watch another grieving relative video...seen way too many...

No way to know what happened from this report. I hacks me when they infer that he would have survived had he been wearing a helmet. Stupid.

Sorry people got killed, but when you report something....give me details.
Details missing there.

Perhaps if they never reported something until the culprit was caught and convicted? Then you can have every detail that there is.
At least we know a white chevy astro or Ford winstar (minivan) with damage to the right front or side is something we need to look for when we are out riding, and why we need to be on the lookout for it.
