What a ride. Only 327 miles, but worth it. Got past the Lighthouse too early to stop. Went on to Roy's. Good food, reasonable prices, unfortunately, with the low clouds and fog today, a pretty dreary day to see anything.
I hope none of you came out to meet up. We got there early and left by 12:30. About a half mile down the road a couple of other bikers were making their way to Roy's. I was hoping it wasn't some of the crew coming out.
About an hour south, the sun started breaking though the clouds, and it turned out to be a great day for a ride.
Thanks for the suggestions. Lighthouse is another trip planned now.
Hopefully you will make that a weekend trip. I would love to join you over that way.
Won't be making any weekend trips soon. My 88 year old dad is in a nursing home in Winter Springs. Every weekend is spent over there. Most of the time it's in the cage, but when I don't have to take a bunch of stuff with me, and am not on a tight time schedule, I jump on the bike to visit. Always a nice ride.
We will make it back up there. I'd like to look around more, when it's clear...
