OK, so you guys put the bug in my head talking in the panhandle ride about Steinhatchee. We normally ride up to Cedar Key for lunch out of Tampa. We rode up there last Monday, and find out the town is all but closed. Found a local that said the town closes up on Mondays this time of year. Ended up in Ocala for lunch.
Anyway, we've decided to ride out to Steinhatchee tomorrow for lunch. I hope they don't close as well? So, what's the restaurant for lunch that I shouldn't miss?
Anybody else want to join up, we should be out there around noon..
Don't know about Steinhatchee..but if your ever in Gainesville check out BJ's Brewhouse...great food and a phenomenal selection of beers...it's right off of 75..but I can't remember which road it was...it's in a shopping center (mall)..Oakwood Oak Plaza? something like that...hell it was dark and late when I was there....
If you are going up 19 to get there please stop in Fanning Springs at the Lighthouse Restaurant and have a crab cake sandwich for me. Very good place to eat.

10-4 on the crab cake sandwich! You're making me hungry Wade. When you wanna go?????
What a ride. Only 327 miles, but worth it. Got past the Lighthouse too early to stop. Went on to Roy's. Good food, reasonable prices, unfortunately, with the low clouds and fog today, a pretty dreary day to see anything.
I hope none of you came out to meet up. We got there early and left by 12:30. About a half mile down the road a couple of other bikers were making their way to Roy's. I was hoping it wasn't some of the crew coming out.
About an hour south, the sun started breaking though the clouds, and it turned out to be a great day for a ride.
Thanks for the suggestions. Lighthouse is another trip planned now.
