Hi. I know this isn't a ride report, but asking in the local forums section.
I'm trying to locate a good central FL shop that can color match my mirage orange color to paint a primed HD part I'm going to buy (59739-09). I tried ordering it via HD dealer, but that part doesn't come in my paint code (07BNR). Multiple dealers told me they do not do custom paint requests.
No worries about the “ride report” , This is the Fl. Crew section and since we have no rules you can post anything you want in here as long as it is not notices from Ft. Myers H.D. concerning “Ft. Myers H.D. Bike Night” , I believe an exception to the no rule’s creed was made for their benefit. Good luck on the Paint shop and Welcome to the Fla. Crew and come meet up for a ride sometime.

No problem posting a question for help with the Fla Crew... and welcome.
That is the great thing about the Crew, there are many members with a huge wealth of info, and you will always find someone who will help out with whatever you need. Feel free to join in our conversations and make a point to join in on one of the rides. The Crew is compiled of a great bunch of guys and gals.

If you don't get any specific recommendations on a local paint shop, I'd start looking in the phone book for a paint/auto body shop that specializes in the high end brand auto/body paint work, like BMW, Volvo, Jag, etc. These guys can mix and match anything in the more complex multi-layer high end paint products and they are skilled in applying it as well.

PM'd the guy that I used a little while ago, I don't know the rules on posting a business and I don't think he is a sponssor.
I got hit from behind and needed a new fender, but having a FLHRS I needed a fender without a hole for the lower light. He took a takeoff FLHRC fender, welded the hole, and painted it vivid black. I'm happy with his work.
There is one guys who jest moved down from the north, Georgia or Alabama or maybe even further north. He is supposed to be a badass painter, I think Jay used him for some custom work on his sporty. If ya get no response I can get ya a number from my dealer for the guys they use for custome work, I have it in my offivce but aint there right now.Oh welcome to the section, when I read color matching I thought I would read something else hehe.

Trying to read into what you thought, Jerry.....damned if I know what you are thinking about. Next thing that comes to mind is 'carpets and drapes' not matching.
I agree on the previous post, finding a high end auto refinisher if you want quality work.
I am sure there are many others, but that would be a start.
When Masterblaster is not "in his office"....it could mean he is riding...or it could mean he is in Brazil, Chapaquidick, or some other godless country.
I would like to also mention Lowes, if you want to match your carpet and curtains...
