Default Fl. Crew family serving
I just saw the post about SMSgt B and his son being home from Iraq. I got to thinking about how many Florida Crew members have son's or family members serving in the armed forces. Not going to try to name them so I will let family members list them for us. Please do so we can recognize them here.

My nephew Bruce has enlisted in the Army and will start basic at Fort Benning July 7.

Step daughter- Navy on the Ike in Dubai right now
Step son- Marines been to Iraq and Afghanistan- Camp LeJuene at the moment

I guess most of ya'll know from my previous bragging that my son, Twisted Hass on HDF, is in the Army. He just finished Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson SC and is currently at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL for Advanced Individual Training. We're proud of him.

Thanks to all the others that are serving.

My son... Greg Jr... put in four years, two tours, in Iraq with the US Army's 37th Armor Unit.
He's been back home for a couple years now and serving weekends in the Army Reserves.

My son is serving in the United States Navy. H ejust got back from a west pack off of the Nimitz and is going to be going back out soon.

When I was in the Navy I was on the Carl Vinson, it was a Nimitz class carrier. We were on maneuvers with the Nimitz more than once..... Pass him my condolences for getting stuck on a carrier!
