Yeah stormer it is a fun place, you should check out the Ocala thread at the top of this section, a good time for sure. Hope to ride with ya some day.
BTW your bike wasn't really missing, that was Brady's missing *****, they must have gotten sucked through your intake. Dont worry though, a pair of tweezers should do the trick. He aint lookin for them so dont worry about damaging the little things.

Rode for 2 hrs yesterday, went all over Leon and Jefferson counties, some pretty nice country out that way.
I did notice the bike was missing a bit, so let the HD ownership fun begin....!

Well it's certainly good to know someone else from the Boston area knows how to put miles on a bike. For a week now I have been shaking my head over a conversation with my brother (a former motor cop). He's headed to bike week in Laconia, NH with his buddies this week.
Last year they all trailered their bikes because "they expected rain". Told me this year he was riding and it would be his longest ride yet. So I Googled it and it's only 130 miles one way (I did that after work last night)! Then I got an email from him that they decided to rent a truck and haul the bikes up. I just replied that they are all a bunch of HOGS.
I gave serious thought to ride my bike to Boston just to lead them on their journey, and show them how to ride miles. But I have too many work deadlines in front of me right now.
But I have not been on the bike since. Taking it back to get new plugs (and they better).
Hope to do some riding midweek but be g that the temps have been atone 100, I'm not too sure about that.
Hmm, there seem to be a few Brady haters in here. That's so sad, when people get so jealous of greatness. :-)
Put brady on another team...say Tampa?.....and see how good he is. He is surrounded by a TEAM. Remember how good Steve Young was with Tampa, and how he became great when he got to San Fran? How great was Joey Montana when he got to KC ?? Doug Williams sucked in Tampa, but won a Super Bowl with the Skins. It's a team game.
GO PHINS !!!!!

Just have to ask, as a new Harley owner, do you know you have to use premium gas? I struggled with missing and backfiring all the time for my first three months until I happened to read one of the premium gas threads on this forum. If you've been using regular, buy a bottle of octane booster for your existing tank and use premium in the future. No more missing.
jaxbeachbadger - Yes I did, bit then no I didn't, so thanx for the reminding, it's much appreciated. Do you prefer one company over another? Or anyone else out there?
I put in 2 gal. of Chevron 87oct. And yes, it did not run that well after. I just have to burn it out for now.
