My First wipe out
well i wipped out today on the bike....it was pooring down rain and Iwas pulling into my complex and all of the sudden I felt my front end slide out from underneatgh me then i slid a bout 30 feet down tge road on my side and back...bike looks fine i have some road rash on my arm thats about it..littel shook up but ill be alright

Glad you came out of it pretty well. The good and bad of the rain was it lubricated the roadway so you would not get too badly road rashed (or not as bad as you could have), but if the road had not been wet to begin with you probably would not have wiped out in the first place !

Well, I am glad you were not badly hurt and glad to hear your bike is fine.

Well 9 out of 10 times i ride with shorts and tennis shoe today I had jeans and my boots on .I will ride more often with jeans and boots then not

Glad you and the bike are ok. Good idea on the jeans and boots. I used to wear shorts and tennis shoes to ride too, but for some reason, I haven't in more than a year. Have wrecked or anything. I just don't do it for some reason.

Lately I ride a lot without my helmet and with running shoes. I rode with shorts once and burned my leg. That was it.. jeans all the time now. Had a shot of Patron after work today.. then my wife asks me to take her on the bike, so I suited up properly. Had a nice 150 mile ride to nowhere.

I for one will always wear my helmet, jeans and boots when riding. I cringe when I see people ride with no shirt on, wearing flip flops and shorts.
