My friend lives on the lake. You do not need to go through a RE to hold your hand and they will never get you the best deal. A RE job gets paid by the seller on a % basis.
I stay up there a few times a year. There are at least 20 bars surrounding the lake and the riding is great if you pass the bars. Go up there and start asking questions, look in the laundromats, and there are many, many houses and lots/property for sale. The only draw-back is you would have to ride your bike all of the way up there (261 mi from my house) using US 27.
Yeah Howard I plan to look locally also, just like the idea of having everything packaged but will check all options. Its only 275 miles not a bad morning ride.
Steve, I did not get the Dyna back in time from HD to run up there today will do it next weekend instead. Plan to sleep on the ground up tehre sat night then head over to DD then hoem on Sunday. BTW its a dry cold it wont kill ya as long as you bundle up a bit.

Still unemployed, consulting contract is done, and want to pursue something more longterm. Was able to get a franchise in my industry, so starting a business. No territories, so can be anywhere I want to. No benefit here vs there, so worth a look-see.
Jerry, Lake Weir is a beautiful area. You can fly from Orlando, Sanford, Gainesville or Tampa. Lake is clean and it is a riding paradise. Give a post when your coming up. Would love to see you while your in the area.
