Went to see Phil and family today. Things are still a bit foggy for him do to the meds, but he looks good. He's come a long way in eight days. Once they found out there was not going to be any surgery today, he got to eat, sitting up. The docs want to do a couple of tests before any surgery. There's plenty of family there to keep him company but visitors are welcome. All the good thoughts and prayers are paying off.
Guys - I really just need to say that you guys are really a good bunch of people. I can't wait to meet you finally face to face.. Hope to do that in Ocala.
Yesterday was a rough day for Phil, between the pain from a hemotoma in his left leg to the drainage in his ear and having a spinal tap. The doctors tell him he has to stay at a 30" angle and if you know Phil we know he doesn't like to be told what to do. However today was an awesome day and after eatting breakfast and some of the drugs wearing off my phil was there all day. I hope the night is the same. Last night phil actually got totally wasted in his mind ,to get him to get some sleep I finally told him BABE your wasted and barely can walk and tomorrow is a big Day. he slept peacefully in like ten minutes . Will keep everyone posted

Hard to picture Phil 'wasted', and barely able to walk.......
You must be talking about someone else! LOL
Phil will sleep when he is ready.....you just have to let him
know when that is.
Thanks to all that are watching over Phil (he is SPECIAL you know?).

Thank you , thank you, thank you, for the up to date update. I am sorry he is so uncomfortable right now, but it is only temporary. We are still praying for him and we hope you can get him moved closer to home soon.
