Yesterday was a rough day for Phil, between the pain from a hemotoma in his left leg to the drainage in his ear and having a spinal tap. The doctors tell him he has to stay at a 30" angle and if you know Phil we know he doesn't like to be told what to do. However today was an awesome day and after eatting breakfast and some of the drugs wearing off my phil was there all day. I hope the night is the same. Last night phil actually got totally wasted in his mind ,to get him to get some sleep I finally told him BABE your wasted and barely can walk and tomorrow is a big Day. he slept peacefully in like ten minutes . Will keep everyone posted
Angie, have the doctors given you any clue when you will be able to move Phil closer to home?
What a good day today was, and what a difference ten days can make. Got to see Phil and take a walk with him and the physical therapists around the forth floor. The therapists got a taste of Phil's humor. I wish I could have recorded it, LOL. After the walk we talked for a couple of hours. Over the past three day sense I saw Phil last, he has improved greatly. There is a chance he may be getting relocated closer to home on Saturday. The docs are just waiting for one more lab test to come back first. For those wanting to make a trip to see him on Saturday, give Angie a call first.
