Don't know what you use to get that off...but I read on here and have tried it....50% water with 50% hydrogen peroxide. Works great on bugs on my windshield! Be sure to put in a spray bottle that is dark when storing. The peroxide will turn to water if left in a clear container. (exposure to light)
LOL...Jay it's funny you posted this. Went for an early morning ride today and "their back". Damn how long do these pests last? I was thinking it's like 3 weeks?
Can be anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks .. Hopefully this is a short season .. May was not bad at all up this way hoping the same for this one .. Spraying your Bike Down with Pledge Ahead of time, Helps a little for removing them Later ..

I plaster the front of the bike with a few wet towels, old t-shirts, etc and just let them soak for a half hour, then they'll wipe right off. Of course that's followed up with the trusty Lemon Pledge to help keep them from sticking the next day.
Saturday road to panama city beach past the Outpost over to Walton beach and back home didn't have many bugs at all. The dry weather must be delaying them around my parts.

Thanks cHarley, that's basically what I meant about Pledge, as a preventer help, not a remover ..
I rode to the bank today and when I came out they were swarming all over my bike. First thing I thought of was you Jay.
Didnt see any on the way home though. Just in the parking lot. I hope it is a light season this year.
