You may of heard the news that Flora and Ella's, famous for their pies, in LaBelle had closed, but the good news is a new restaurant has or will open in the same place. Rumor has it that it was taken over by one of the waitresses of the old place. A friend rode past there and the sign says bakery so she called, yes they are having pies.
It would be nice to have a group stop by and get them "kick started"
Went there today and the new place is open called "A Country Place". Did not eat there but went to the BBQ place called "Log Cabin" about one block east and their food and service is GREAT! Had the pan seared fish and it was delicious, free sample cup of soup and ice cream.
