I'm looking at an 08, with a 96" but have some questions.
Does anyone have one or had one in the past?
Did you like it? Have you also had a sportster to compare the ride to?
Have there been any issues with superglides in general that I should be aware of?
I rode a bone stock 06 for about 250 miles one day and it was th emost uncomfortable motorcycle I have ever ridden in my whole life. Could not wait to get off of it. Carloyns sportster was like a caddy in comparison. Why don't you buy my Softail? I will give you a great deal on it just to get it out of the garage. Its an 07 with the 96/6speed and needs nothing.
In my opinion the Dyna is a very versatile bike that can be loaded up for a long ride or stripped down for around the town. I own a 08 Street Bob and love it. For the record I love it much more after a couple suspension upgrades by Ohlins.

I have an 09 Superglide Custom and I couldn't be happier. Comfortable, agile and quick. Easy to work on, looks good and fun to ride. Not too many Dynas around here either so they are a bit "unique", which I like.
You don't want two payments? How many years did you finance a sportster for?
You know you want sick puppies Road King. He is not in the crew anymore. Make him an offer.
You buy his bike with yours in trade. He comes to Ocala with yours....you don't show.....and he puts the sportster in a burn out pit til the engine blows! WIN-WIN all the way around.
(go with the dyna-wide-super-glide-whatever)
