Paul,
Patty and I are thinking about a trip up your way in October.
Want to experience Helen Ga and surrounding area.
Put some thoughts around this and see what we can come up with.
10-4 thru 10-09.
Sounds great Randy. Lots of leaf-peeping that time of year. PLENTY of day-trip options from base camp at casa poorboy, certainly overnight trips can add even more options.
Backyard trailer parking available (since I know you own one) if ya want to knock-out the superslab between Jax and ATL.
Helen GA, Highlands NC, Franklin NC, and a boat load of tiny towns in-between are covered in hills and twisties. All are great day-trips.

Appreciate the Casa Poorboy extention, however, we can easily stay at a motel and then meet up....I'm a little tired of Maggie Valley , but want to experience more North Jawja and Nort carolina venues. As time gets near we'll make some plans. Who knows maybe a couple of FL crew folks will want to join up as well.
Trailer or ride. It's all good for me. Trailer only if more than 1 bike. I'll probably have my wingman along in October if he gets squared away by then.
Is that invitation available to other Crew Members...?
Hi Paul... Miss ya brother.
Of course brother Murph. Casa poorboy is "Outpost Florida Crew North". All of the Florida Crew have a standing inventation. Even if you're only "passing through", we'll always have an open door. Best of all if you can hang for a couple of days.
There is an almost unlimited amout of cruising here in north Georgia. We never have to cross a state line. I like to tease that North Carolina and Tennessee have the "tail of the dragon", but the head and body of the dragon is in Georgia. Fort Mountain, Burnt Mountain, and Brasstown Bald all offer incredible motorcycle rides to the top; most with an alternate way down so you don't have to repeat pavement unless you really want to.
To the east of me we have Gordon (Back Again) who has some really cool roads that wrap, roll, twist, and turn through beautiful horse and cattle country. He has had me on roads that were almost completly void of any other traffic. Miles and miles of north country cruising.
Murph...seriously, FL Crew....seriously..... come on up.
So this year the Rally is a month early and at Poorboy's house.........

No..... I have a feeling we're gonna have a great rally in Ocala.... I figure Murph is up to something. I already told Patti that we may have to deploy the beer wagon again this year. Hee heee heee heee.
But any sort of gathering up this way is always an option and doesn't require much effort.
