Much like JD stated it's a bit cooler on the coast. ILE is pretty central, I'm out of town working close to there this week in Auburndale - not a fan. Don't like to work ha and perfer the ocean. Moved south from SE PA in 89 and never looked back. Everyone has thier own idea of typical FL and mine is by the ocean. In terms of the heat it's up to you. Never too hot for Manfu to ride. It does get hot at stop lights so as long as your moving it's not bad. I have the same high toleration for cold. Could that make me a real motorcyclist? You will have to dodge the afternoon storms this time of year. Not a bad price to pay for 9 month of perfect weather. Even in the winter there will only be a few cold days in a row before you're in shorts again. Good luck and let me know if ya need any specific Daytona info. Cole

It's muggy, not hot. Wear a nice mesh/textile jacket and it's like riding with the AC on.

The downside for you being from Pa, we don't have Deer Season as a state holiday, and we don't have many shooting ranges that go out to 600 yards.
