From: Butler,Pa/ Indian lake Estates ,Fl.

Might be moving to FL

I am from Pa ... but was there for bike week .... I stayed with a relitive in indian lake estates and fell head over heels with it ... Is it too hot too ride there in summer ???? I realllly like it there ... thanks in advance

Yeah, it's too hot. You can ride in the mornings and evenings, but it's miserable any other time.

No, its nice all the time, except for the bugs and odd hurricane it gets just as hot up there, just stays hotter longer here, not unbearable at all.

As long as you stay on the coast its not bad. I came down here from Mississippi and it is way hotter there in the summer than it is here. Middle of the state can get miserable but you are never far from the coast to get some relief no matter where you are.

If you liked the Indian Lake Estates area you are going to love Florida. Yes, it does get hot and there really are not a lot (none really) of twisties but the riding is always as good as you make it. Some folks are not as happy go lucky as they would like others to believe.

When it gets too hot Mother Nature provides you and your bike a nice shower to cool off and stay hydrated.

Just ride in the mornings and evenings until you get used to the midday heat the its a piece of cake.

It depends...how much do you like riding? Enough to tolerate the heat? Then the answer is no, it's not too hot.

Besides, what's what 300 mile burger runs and Florida rain showers are for.
