Patriot HD has a police escorted ride in, from their dealership to the pentagon
leaves out of their parking lot at 9am, so gotta be there at 815 they say

Last year I got to Patriot HD by 7 am and the line was already 4 wide and a quarter mile long. People lined the whole route to the freeway (mile or so) waving and cheering. It was nuts. There was a breakfast place all set up with grills, a parade, and some local blow hard politicians gave speeches. And tons of overweight grandmas showing too much cleavage.

Too bad that I've decided to change my plan, but I may see your guys on the way there.
I will leave on the 23rd, but I will stay overnight in Augusta. On the 24th, I probably have a little head start (leave @ 6:30am), but if you ride fast, then you will see me.
BTW. I stay in Springfield, VA on the 24th, and move to Arlington for the next few days. Go home on the 28th.
Ride safe and have wonderful trip!

leaving tonight to head up to Daytona, then Dan and I are headed out tomorrow about 530 from the Racetrack Gas Station on US1, just east of Destination Daytona - if anyone is wanting to join us for the ride up, that's where we will be, and when we will be leaving
