i don't know what the problem is.....Jay is riding everyday all over the place. he don't post rides on here to a deaf audience. I wish i could keep up with him.
Something to say about the Southern Cruisers. They use telephones to contact each other versus a forum!
I ride when i can. lately I've been nursing a sick left knee that is not capable of holding my bike up so i have to be a lot more careful.
Anybody south able to ride mid week? Maybe we could have a Wednesday ride in the next couple weeks?
Can't do weekdays... I'm thinking about taking a ride up to Blue Ridge Mountain Pky Labor Day weekend if my girlfriend can take that Friday off. Just not sure if its a bad idea traffic wise on a big holiday.
judge me as you may, I have always taken Sundays and the summer (8months) off
No judgement... I'm sitting here looking out the window wondering why I'm not out. I love riding, I love Florida... I've just had my fill of riding the same boring routes.
I wish it were quicker to get out of Florida. The lease is up on my car next year. Thinking of going back to an SUV and buying a MC trailer so make a quicker bee line out if the state to some great riding when the mood strikes.

Better hope it stops raining up here. Roads are sliding and creeks are raising everywhere in WNC. They closed part of the Parkway yesterday due to slides. Up towards Mt Mitchell. Been raining almost every day for a week. Neighbor measured 12 1/2 inches of rain just last week. The normal rainfall for July is 4 inches. It sucks living with the ducks...lol

My area is getting 9 inches of rain today.in fact I think I just saw a dolphin swimming up my street. But I'd take that here any day versus up there.
I rode up to TC HD today. It was a gorgeous ride up there this morning. I won a HD-Craftsmen toolbox in a raffle there (found out after riding home), and got thoroughly drenched on the way back.
I don't mind the rain too much as long as it's not torrential to the point of not being able to see like it was today on I-95. I still ride most every day through the year.
I have done a trip to Key West for a week and a weekender to Daytona so far this summer. Heading to NC in a few weeks. Hope the rain is gone by then. What is this Ocala rally y'all speak of?
I've said this before but... I can/will/often ride 'day-trips' during the week, alone or with small groups, out of the Groveland/Clermont vicinity and I take 2-4 long(er) trips/year (usually 2K-4K miles)...
Got caught in a torrential down-pour 1400 hrs. today... Bike/clothes washed, ready...
