YUP, I seem to remember that recent/ride-event to Jax's but we were not able to change our planned route... We ride at least once/week and it is usually North'ish, but LIS, we have a nice trek South to Lake Placid vicinity and will try again/join you folks at Jax's eventually...

See, you just missed it. Jay and Jim left for Virginia this morning. If you ever get a chance to ride Virginia with Jim just do it. He knows this place at Tuggle's Gap where you can get a great hot dog. His driveway is a little tricky though.
