I have been on an insane company travel schedule that is keeping me mostly in Tokyo, Japan. Sometimes, in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. I have been "home" for about a week since August 24th.

I am working with Toshiba engineering, at their headquarters in Tokyo Bay, having a front-row seat with brand new design & implementation efforts on a new product. This is an incredible opportunity at the expense of not being home with family and friends. Tokyo is +13 hours from the Atlanta time zone, so touching base or calling home is always a challenge.

Pequot Lakes is one of my company's R&D centers, so I have been there on testing efforts and then quick returns to Tokyo. So even when "state-side", I haven't always been able to stop at "home". Patti has been wonderfully supportive and understands the "investment" aspects to future personal growth.

So, having a crap-load of Sky Miles and Hilton Honors points, I am quite often clicking my heals, wanting no part of more travel. I haven't ridden my motorcycle since September 1st.

I doubt I can make Ocala this year. If not traveling, I want to be home.

This "crazy" will last until April-May of next year. I will keep you informed, and I always try to stay current with the Florida Crew!

Needless to say, I have some amazing stories and experiences. Tokyo is a beautiful modern city that I can easily recommend all to visit.

Warm regards to all!
just came back from tokyo! stayed up in haruma. i met some guys off hdforums who took me riding up in the izu peninsula through the mountains. it was incredible! have you done any riding over there?
