We are leaving the cold and snow of Iowa to spend six weeks in the Port St. Joe area of Flordia. What kind of riding weather well we find that for north?? Will we need to go on south to find good riding weather? Thanks for any advice.
Fronts come through and it gets chilly, forecast might include snow on weds, but I doubt it. I will usually warm up nicely during the day into the 50's or 60's. some really nice roads and spots to go for lunch in that area too.
JLRESQ is quite the weatherman......February could be 'warm'.......65ish to 70......or could be in the lower 40's. Snow? Eh.....don't think so, but he may have a newer issue of the farmers altmy crack. Come to Florids in the winter, do like the rest of us do...deal with it. Chances are it will be warmer than Wyoming, 15 degrees warmer than Michigan....
NY?,,,could be 20-30 degrees warmer or colder than here. Given all the options..i would be here in Florida (not North of Ocala), Ocala has some pretty riding though....

Don't really start getting cold (20s and 30s) till February and March and are usually our coldest months up here. This year it started early. Last 3 weeks we've had quite a few days back to back in the 20s and 30s and it's just January. But...it's going to get in the 70s for high this weekend.
BTW...our highs the past few weeks has been anywhere between 40s and maybe low60s. Mostly high 50s.
Definitely further South it gets better temp. wise.
One thing about Florida winters up here is you really can't predict it to far in advance. Snow is the one thing you shouldn't have to worry about here....unless you get busted with it
Should stop raining by tonight I hope...been raining since last night.
