Back reading complete. Family ugliness when someone is gone sucks. Not sure I've ever known a family where it didn't happen to some degree. My Pop died in '94 and I haven't spoken to my older brother and his fat *** wife since.

Can't imagine it happen in out family. Dad don't have much to leave behind, That is the way I am going to be leaving this world! I am not leaving anything behind. Gonna spend it ALL while I can enjoy it! Kids get enough while we are still alive!

That happened when my Mom's Dad died in 1987. He didn't have much but her 2 brothers fought each other and everyone else on getting their fair share. My Mom had not spoken to them since 1988, up to an including when she passed.

My Pop told us what he and Mom had put into savings over the years and it is a decent sum, surely enough for him to get that FreeWheeler, a ToyHauler RV in which to haul it and enough left over to actually haul it somewhere. We told him to spend it all...not to worry about leaving us anything, to enjoy his retirement
