True but, why pay for a bike with an on board radio, only to use headphones hooked to your phone? Might as well bought a non- fairing bike.
Well, basically because I like traveling long distances on my bike and the fairing helps keep weather and wind from beating you to death on those 5-600 mile days. Having ridden both fairing and non fairing bikes for LONG hours on the road at a time, to me at least, that fairing is the difference between pulling in after a 500 mile day feeling pretty good and being absolutely worn out from fighting the wind all day.
Edit: I already have some hearing loss from many years of bikes, guns, and farm equipment.
I do use the stereo on my bike sometimes, but it's usually when I'm just putting around at lower speeds so it's not having to compete with the wind and the roar of the pipes at highway speed.
Supwitchuguyz??...Been out ridin all day...Rode all day yesterday too....missed a race & 2 hockey gamez....pfffft!!
Rocker lockerz are interesting....mebby gotta do that.
