I don't have a black leather vest but do have a lined Outback oiled canvas that I wear when it's not cold enough for a jacket. I have worn it on the Harley, riding horses and doing work outside. Love my leather chaps over jeans on a cold day when riding. Don't wear doo rags but most often have a bandana to wipe sweat stuck in my pocket. Find that padded fingerless gloves feel damn good on the throttle after a few hundred miles. Guess I'm a pirate to folks that worry to much about what other folks to or wear

As to to the OP who really gives a **** wear what you like.

Chaps help keep me warmer, vest is convenient for keeping **** in, do rag/bandana/beanie cap keeps my bald head from developing skin cancer, I prefer a ball cap though keeps direct sun off my nose but is a pain in gusting winds. Helmet in not so free states, or when it's raining. I'm **** about gloves and boots I cannot get on a bike without gloves and boots, I can accept the risk of road rash just not on my hands or feet. Harley shirts yuhp they have some pretty cool looking shirts so if I stop at a dealer in another city I might buy one as a souvenir. Tattoo's, yehp got a ton of them had them a lot longer than I've had a Harley.

People with pristine low mileage bikes are posers, not pirates

I agree and right there with ya....I just found the OP's description funny....I guess to some we're not allowed to laugh on here....other people's dress doesn't affect my ride or the joy or riding....

Aaarghh. I can't get a damned bandana to stay on my head!!!! CRAP.

I do wear fingerless gloves though. I find that the padding on the palm keeps my hand from getting numb.
