This woman is a badass. Had half her lower lip torn off by a dog the day we were leaving for Sturgis in 2014. Has emergency plastic surgery the same day and jumps in the truck the next day. We were a day late getting there was all and she rode on back the entire time we were there almost 2000 miles. Her regret was we didn’t ride to and from Sturgis because had been bitten in the face by a dog.
She was the one who insisted we still go.

The Litas aren't criminals or posers. They are badass because many of them out ride and out wrench a lot of us here while being themselves. They are moms, wives, and real women. It's a varied group so there's always exceptions, but the few I've known built their own shovels and ride the Diablo Run and many other long unglamouros cross country slogs and throughout Mexico. Most have been doing it a long long time, well before the interwebs and social media became a thing. They aren't attention seekers, they are riders.

i have no idea where these down for the cause women are. all i ever see is the annoying ones that always need help, are playing dumb (also repulsive), asking for rides (uber repulsive, my bikes are solo seated for a reason), or playing dress up. i support the litas mc, babes ride out types... etc. i love grease monkey-ish women that don't strut around modeling... and clamoring for attention... that do it for the love and don't coat tail dudes. these guys:

amen.

-truth be told, the first person i ever rode with was a woman, she taught me tons and to stop being a such a girl. i still can't ride like her on that refrigerator she rides around on. she'll get on here bike and just leave for a week.... no plan. she's a badass to me. nothing but respect and admiration for her. she's like my motorcycle mom... (man tears)

"badass" and her Fridge
Well said....amen to all that.

Default Actions Versus Consequences

I hired a young guy who was a heavyweight national Karate champ and had sponsors and mountainous trophies that proved it. But he was very quiet and mild mannered and wore glasses that made him look like a professor.
He came into the shop one morning with a bandaged hand.
Seemed some dude had run a stop sign while my buddy was taking his boy to school in his truck.
The offending driver hit the passenger door and when told "You almost killed my boy---what is WRONG with you?" the driver then got out of his car came over to my buddy who had the window rolled up (Florida air conditioning mandatory) and he gave my pal the FINGER and said "what chu gonna DO about it?" as he mugged up against the window glass.
My pal punched him out THROUGH THE WINDOW.
Badass?
Oh yeah.
After it came out in the papers our mutual supervisor who was a real ***** began to act much cooler when our quiet friend was near.
Ha!

Having played doorman at a few low rent places who gives a f**k how the clown that got clocked is doing, it comes down to where you have to go hands on said gomer is long past anything civil you can do. You or him and it isn't going to be me.

Exactly. Badasses do bad things. Our job was to protect our customers. Not have a fair boxing match. I don’t fight like a badass. That’s why I avoid fighting. We knew this guy liked to fight, and was big and strong. My buddy neutralized the threat, and I learned a valuable lesson. If you want to fight a fair, bare knuckle fight like we did in the ‘60s, don’t fight. There are too many people willing to hit you with brass knuckles, Blackjacks, knives or guns. And I felt bad for the the guy who got cut. I still remember his name. But he probably quit fighting after that. Might have saved his life.

Going along with Ron's original post, yes it is possible for a woman to be a bad ***. Just because she's in some Womens club doesn't make her bad ***.

I've been on again off again with a gal that would qualify. Grew up in a worse situation than most men and grew up tough. She's been to prison twice. Now she's getting her **** together, and is really a damn good person.

She is one damn good ol' lady, and most here probably don't know what the hell that means, but she covers all the bases. Taking care of her man, cooking, wanting to please him, and most of all, watching his back.

She's a Felon, and can't have a firearm, but heaven help the SOB that would mess with me if she were there. She has the means to defend both of us, and would spill blood to do it, all 120 lbs of her no questions asked.

She IS a bad ***, and I'll show her but not her face for a few reasons, and no, it's not an ugly face.....

'Badass" isn't for a type of person to me, it's a description of an act.
Riding to MO this June at a rest stop we encountered a girl in her 40's riding an Ultra alone, and struck up a conversation.
She was from the San Francisco area riding around the US and on her way to the east coast to join up with friends before taking a northern route home sometime in September.
She was maybe 5'5", around 115 lbs- like I said, all alone and happy to be out on the road.
That was truly "Badass!"
