i like my bottle holder thats mounted to saddle bag crash bar. i just wished it wasn't so flimsy. could easily carry my morning mccafe and drink on the interstate but the wind starts flapping it around and can't put it back in. just wondered if anybody knew a quick easy fix to stiffen it up.
Id say sleeve it. Maybe a thin plastic ring at the top? Might be ways to stiffen the leather too - have you looked? Possibly a piece of spring steel trimmed to fit; thatd be thinner than any plastic...

I've seen thin plastic sheets 3x3 or close at home depot or lowes that would work to cut and roll up and slide in. I think it would keep it from collapsing.
