Man, I'd say go for it, especially if you like getting your a$$ kicked.

I would not ride with this piece in general, as surely some would misinterpret the humor. Most three patch clubs that are anywhere near me are actual clubs for the sake of MCing. I used to know some HA's but have long lived away from them and have lost contact. I know they wouldn't have given a crap.

I am of the opinion that most single club members (as in when they are alone - would not give a crap). Maybe if they were in a pack they might feel like they have something to prove.

It's a commuter vest - not making fun of clubs or the idea of a club - just kind of recognizing the club of one that I am in.

If it is making fun of ANYONE - it is myself. Of course there is a valid point in that some might not see that I am poking fun at myself.

So, those of you that may be in the know - what modifications would have to be made to make the patches nonthreatenting. I know I would be a pretty threatening character at 5'7" 140 pounds and sporting my viz commuter gear.

You could have a sticker made for the back of your helmet that reads:

"All You ***** Bikers Suck"

I wouldn't opt for a 3-patch vest.

I know you probably have really good intentions, honestly....leave it alone. Stick with the one piece patch. You'll be looking for trouble.

Again, I see 3 piece M/C where I live, that I know for certain are not 1%'s. So how is it that there are not gang wars going on? Is this a for real thing or something that was on "Gangland"?

Fans of the rock band BLS are regularly hasseled (or worse) and asked to turn thier "3 piece patch" looking tshirts inside out. So, even though you seem to have a sense of humor..., I wouldn't do it. You may cross some 1% that think it's funny..., some others may not.

Top rocker: COMMUTER

Center Patch: Custom Artwork of guy on a MC holding an umbrella

Bottom Rocker: Either Beall Street (My street of course) or LENOIR (My town).

I would then attach this to my yellow high viz vest. Maybe a front patch saying: The other 1%

It would match my no pickle stickered bright yellow bike perfectly.
Yeah that be real funny till your local dominant 1% club eventually knocks on your door, and they WILL catch up with you....

I can't even tell you the last time I saw anyone wearing a three patch locally. And I mean in YEARS. There's still some interesting perspectives presented here.

I can see from this group that many would not get that I am making fun of myself, and not the clubs, so may rethink the design ideas.

Though honestly I can't see much difference in the patching (when it's in terms of a hi-viz commuter vest), and the guys that ride around as weekend warriors wearing all the "outlaw gear" minus the three patch. I think it would be obvious that I am not pretending to be something I am not.

Perhaps just a top rocker - straight instead of curved and my custom MC rider with an umbrella patch would not offend their delicate sensibilities.
