Not that I really care, but I just don't get the fingerless glove hate. They provide a better grip than no gloves at all and still allow the use of your fingers. What's wrong with that? Is it just because some posers wear them even while they're not riding to try and look cool? Because I could understand if that was driving the hate. Otherwise, I'm at a loss...
I am right there with you on that one. I dont get it either, but oh well. I can see the issue with chaps, but the gloves? Anyway, I wore my chaps this morning on my cold ride in. I couldnt get them off fast enough. LMAO.
They did keep me warm though.
I kinda get amused with all the fashion police crap too. My Deuce grips are small and I can build callouses over a few days so fingerless gloves are a must in the summer. The ultra has nice leather heated (for the cold) grips and require nothing in the summer. I personally believe this crap has been started by the newer riders or people that aren't secure in there man hood. Any computer tough guy that lives up here where it gets cold and rides and doesn't were chaps or something to keep the wind off is probably lying about what they were or lie about actually riding in the cold. Now if I see you wearing fingerless gloves in 30* weather I will either think you are really dumb or lost your heavies! I just wear what I feel like wearing and if someone doesn't like it they will get over it, I will!
Does anyone here wear larger fingerless gloves over their full fingered gloves? If so, is it for the look or safety, grip, or why?
What do the people who make fun of fingerless gloves wear when it is hot? Fingerless gloves do offer protection, IMO. At least they protected the palm of my hand once when I went down (on the bike).
