Ama.....pluses and minuses???

I been a AMA mem. for many years,, mostly so I could race, when I was younger.
I remain a mem now,, cause the AMA fights hard for a lot of bike/atv rights,...
bout all I get out of it now is a monthly mag. but I like readin it.
They are like the NRA, and guns.
If everyone that rode were a member.. I think we have a little more biker rights!
so, why not send them 30$,, help support our selves,,
google AMA and read more
there are NO minuses!!!!

AMA is a "political lobbying group" not a riding club... they offer discounts on Insurance, rentals, motels, and a host of other things.
I am a member of AMA, as well as MRF.... both are active in preserving motorcyclist's "privileges" AMA is a better source of information that you might likely use in real life (storing a bike for winter- winter riding- trip planning etc) but whether it's worth anything to YOU... is up to you.
