we were told to.
If yer boss asks you to do something, don't you do it?
I'd explain to my boss that there really is no harm in it and to reconsider the decision or at least communicate to the members involved as to what the issue is and give them a chance to correct it.

I guess we got to be too much like friends. I don't understand the lack of an explanation other than we were told to. Did I engage in post whoreing, absolutely. It did not start that way. I posted maybe fifty times max in over a year, then found a thread that seemed like fun, discussions occurred without fighting, friendships started, unlike the political forum. I have purchased things from the advertisers here and got opinions from members regarding parts prior to ordering. In general I built relationships with others in that thread and we tried to keep our area clean. Too bad no one thought highly enough of anybody in those threads to give us any type of an explanation as to why or what we did wrong. Bandwidth issues? Then get rid of the repetitive mindless games. Keep a couple of the same. Problem people, then warn them, and if it repeats, ban them. I cannot beleive that a thread like the Serial Posters or the Meet and Greet are of any greater issue than moderators that talk openly of breaking laws (smoking pot, posting avatars that show marijuana leaves etc...), but then I guess my priorities are must be screwed up.
I wrote yesterday that my post count was going to be up due to surgery that was going to keep me from riding. Does that make me a serial poster? Yeah, I guess, but I thought that this was a forum for open discussion and especially in the BS Forum. I'm not going anywhere unless I am banned for stating my opinions somewhere other than the correct thread, but the fun sure has been taken out of it.
