She's happy now so hopefully she'll stop peering over my shoulder. The discussion will go on forever I suppose. I'm not getting up early tomorrow to go buy a pair but I'll put my gun down for tonight and go to sleep. You Yanks keep funny hours.

BUT, ya'll are fans of man purses, which certainly would not fly anywhere in my neighborhood. I took this photo outside Morgan & Wacker in Brisbane back in November.

He wasn't the only one at the dealership wearing a man purse, either. Nevertheless, there was certainly a bunch of friendly folks there and they served a mean sausage. It was great to hear and see Harleys, as there aren't many running around downtown Brisbane.

Leather pants and Kevlar jeans are acceptable and standard but unless you're in the Village People you need to leave the chaps at home. Better still, post 'em to France. They'd love 'em. LOL
That's funny

Frenchman ouch! I know I deserved that. I should never have attacked the French without provocation. Makes me look Hitleresque. Especially after all the French have done for us. I haven't been there for a while but apparently you've introduced the manbag to Brisbane recently. No wonder the entire state of Queensland got flooded last month. The floods were almost twice the entire size of Texas, a disaster of biblical proportions they reckon. More likely some sort of biblical retribution for carrying manbags is my tip. Keep your chin up Frenchie. Your day is bound to improve once those chaps start rolling in through the mail.

I thought maybe the pink shirt and sneekers might given that guys secret away. Post that guy some chaps and maybe he'll stay indoors with his husband. Sorry to hear you didn't see many HDs in Brisbane. That hasn't been my experience, although there's not that nationalistic pride for the locally produced machine here so definitely there are more metrics. With the weather they have in Queensland, a Harley would have to be the first thing you'd own. Perhaps they've traded them in for dinghy's this year.

I wear chaps if its cold, wet, or going on a long ride(hot or cold out) I always looked at it as another layer between my skin and the road. I bought mine for the function aspect, not the fashion. Didn't realize there was a certain time or place to wear them.

Now I suppose you all are gonna dog me for wearing my welding cap when I ride?
