I wear Full mesh gloves when it is warm enough, Full gautlet leather gloves when cool and Full gautlet heated leather when cold enough to warrent it. All with gel inserts. Its' about protection and comfort. All HD products because they are the best imo. But thats how I roll.
Do the nose pickers need to use all their fingers? How do they keep track which finger they used and decide which one is the next? There must be a system and would love to hear about it.
Figured there might be a mention of having fingerless gloves so, you can feel the trigger?
Very entertaining thread.
BTW, complete gloves all the way. Pay the same or more for less protection. Perforated leather or mesh will keep cool under speed during hot days.
Well young man ..... I was not commenting on what someone wears. I was joking that if "chaps" don't have an *** in them, then why do fingerless gloves have palms. I could really give a rats *** what anyone wears. I don't wear HD clothing, I wear chaps when the temp is below 60 and windy. I wear gloves when it's cold, don't when it's warm and only wear a helmet in states that it's the law. I never wear a rag on my head and only go to dealerships to buy parts. I don't have thousands of post because I am normaly out riding. I live in a state where the wind chill this am is 14. A little cold to ride so I am getting ready to "go catch dogs" sorry if I offended you or made you "wonder" about me. I don't put that much thought or stock in fourms. Now I have to go wax my " Ride to Live (except when I am making thousands of post) Live to Ride" sticker. It takes up the whole rear window of my HD edition Ford Truck ... just sayin
Sorry Crabby, I really was joking and not commenting on your post at all. Wish I was a young man, thanks.

No problem Rat.... I was just being a ********.... I do that sometimes when I'm in the Tequila or as my wife calls it " to-kill-ya .... I was bored and drinking and watching basketball. No offense taken ... no offense meant! Now that Rat and I have made peace.... don't the rest of you think you can call me grandpaw or take advantage of my "nice side"
I think they are there so you can loop them around your brake/clutch levers and pull them back easier without curving your fingers. Or maybe you can stretch them out and rap them around the throttle, sort of a cruise control apparatus. Just don't try this with the left hand or you will end up, well you get the picture...
Never understood the whole fingerless glove thing. If i wear gloves it's for protection, especially my fingers. If your hands are so tender that you need gloves to ride then you might be a poser. I'm guessing it's just a fashion statement, otherwise why not wear full finger gloves?
cuz the fingerless gloves are a lot cooler 'literally' in the summer heat and a nice pair of gel padded fingerless gloves are nice for the long haul, vibration, bumps etc.

+1!
Unless you like sweaty fingers swimming inside a full glove and hoping you're pushing the right switch 'cause you can't feel all that well through the "quality leather" glove you bought...

Yep, still wear mine from time to time as well. Not as much since I bought my Lee Parks DeerTours though. Damn things are almost as comfy in hot weather as the fingerless, IMO.
