Okay, okay... in our household, we have some experience in matters that have been mentioned in your thread: To wit:
Chunker, Velcro-ing on patches doesn't work. The Roo tried it once and the results were totally unacceptable. So you need to determine where your loyalties lie, and after 335 posts, you should be approaching that point. Good luck with that.
Panelbeater, You crack me up. When the Roo quit smoking long long ago, he decided that he didn't need his nicotine gum. We went to Walmart that day, and he turned into The Bad Man, throwing his watch across the store, scaring children, etc. He never felt that he was acting inappropriately or needed his gum. Until after he began to chew the next piece when he got home. So I can definitely commiserate with the "tearing off of faces" of which you speak.
Went to Sturgis a couple years ago and the guy I,m walking around with decides he wants a patch. So he get's this big stupid looking flaming skull sewn on the back of his vest. I did'nt have the heart to tell him how douchebagish it looked on him.
He thought it made him look all badass, damn I laughed all night.
May as well have put a" I'm a fu$@tard" patch on, it has the same same effect.
