No way on Gods green earth would I strike off for Florida for Daytona living in Maine.Rode a few times with snow on the ground, and many times in temps near freezing temps.I don't care who you are that is asking for a lot of trouble. So a trailer would certainly be my mode of transport, and not feel the least bit bad.

So far the only trailer my bike has ever seen is the one attached to the back of it. But, you never know what the future holds as I get older or have to relocate back to the great frozen north. I have no hard feelings for those who do. My brother in law and a buddy trailered their bikes to my house in '09 and we rode to Biketoberfest from here.

Was riding down the highway one time in the rain and cold, passed a guy with an RV and his bike in the back of the truck. He looked at me and I at him, he had a smoke going and probably a cup of java. He still waved and so did I. I knew what he was thinking and he knew what I was thinking.
It's all good, he got to his gong show campground and I got to sit in a nice hot tub at the hotel I got for free using some air mile points.
We're all the same once you're on the bike riding it.

We have a toyhauler and it's great to be able to get somewhere without having to ...gasp...ride in the rain or snow....which I have done my fair share of over the past 30+ years...and don't miss it at all. We trailered to Yellowstone, spent a few days riding our bikes, then off to Custer and spent a week there riding around to Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil's tower, etc...and had a nice cool trailer to relax in the evening, cook a real home made meal, watch some movies, read a few books, drank some cold brews, bonk our brains out...whatever. Then trailered off to Ontario, stopping in a few other places to bike around for another few days....then back home to the Yukon.
Never worried about the weather. If it was sh!tty we stayed "home" or moved on to the next area of interest where the weather was more pleasant, relaxed, planned our next move and totally enjoyed our 3 months on the road.
Trailering ain't bad at all...but each to his/her own.
