I'm the last of my friends still on a metric. We like to do poker runs when they are for a good cause/charity. During these rides i occasionally come out of a building (store, bar, etc.) and find some gung-ho HD rider and macho man wannabe had spit on my metric. Once i actually caught the guy. He was a big guy (i'm 5' 10" @ 200lbs) well over 6' and close to 300lbs. I asked in a VERY firm voice "What's the f***ing problem?". He looked at me in shock for a few seconds then turned and walked away (quickly) without saying a word. I didn't pursue because my first thought was he's running to be with his group of friends and i'm alone at this moment.
I know that it's not so much the metric bikes that HD riders don't like as it is the metric V-Twins (Victory not included).
So i'm asking you people. What is the reason for an extreme hatred of metric cruisers?
Anyone who does something like that is a complete fuking *******. Try not to let it bother you, we are not all like that. That chump deserved an asskicking.
Everyone needs to feel like they are superior to someone in this world, and if the only thing you have going for you is the kind of bike you picked out, then you are truly a sad sob. I'm sure he was very proud of himself.
Some people are just born assho7es. Would i own another street bike other than a Harley Davidson? Hell no. But i like my KX250 for dirt. Ill ride with anyone or any brand. I even like giving my friend **** about his yamaha. And his take on my dyna.
But its all in fun.

My thoughts exactly. I would have had a hard time walking away from that, but you did the right thing.
