Maybe I am missing something to me but to me there has to be something deeper behind it than just calling themselves Nomads
Rigid,

Do you know who the two dominant 1% clubs are here in the Dago area? I'll assume that you do, so I don't have to state the obvious. Knowing who these two clubs are, do you honestly think that the original founding members of the Laffing Devils would attempt to start a new 3PP club in the Dago area without at least talking to these guys, or better yet, getting their permission? It probably wouldn't be real healthy to disrespect these two clubs by not even acknowledging their presence here in San Diego.

If they did start up the club without so much as a sit-down with the big dogs, how long do you think it would take before the LDMC would get schooled up by the dominant 1% clubs on proper protocol? I mean really…do you think that the LDMC would have lasted more than 5 years here by ignoring that protocol, and disrespecting the big guys in town? Not a chance.

Regarding the "Nomad" bottom rocker…did it ever occur to you that the Laffing Devils were told what an acceptable bottom rocker would be? Perhaps they were told by these dominant 1% clubs that flying a "California" bottom rocker, or even a "San Diego" or "Dago" bottom rocker wasn't going to happen. Maybe "Nomad" was the only bottom rocker that was allowed. Seriously, do you think that the Laffing Devils just picked "Nomad" out of the blue? Come on, you seem like an intelligent guy, what do you think?

I believe you are correct. My dollar says it doesn't show up on new clubs from now on. Your Nomad take may well be true in Calif but not so in some other parts of the US.

I still wanna know what happened to the club members that were posting on here earlier before the show started.

They're getting their caddy's ready for the next bike drag event.

That is very common with the Calif clubs.
At one recent NCOM, a bus load of a certain club unloaded in front of the main hotel wearing their colors.
Looked like a clown car convention.

It's all scripted BS.

"Only us patched members know about that conversation!"
.....and the 5-10 camera/sound crew guys......
Funny how they didn't immediately question the patched member who BROUGHT THE DUDE IN IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Nah, not real at all.

And the part that cracks me up is, they're trying to split to a second chapter. Ok, that's a minimum of 4 or 5 guys, just for the officers.
Then while talking about voting the new guy in & how it has to be full on unanimous vote of all patched members.....there's not even 10 guys there total!

Someone posted something that make some stuff click in my head...from the first moment I watched, I kept thinking that I'd seen that Sandman guy somewhere before. As in, some other show or movie.
Then I started thinking the same thing about Hawkster, then Canuck.....then Danny-Boy....then even Billy.
They're freakin actors, with maybe two or three real LD members.....the ones that NEVER SAY ANYTHING, like that Bones guy.

The trainwreck and even scripted aspect of it had my interest, but after realizing that it's not even BS "reenactments of real events" but just BS fictional crap played by actors, I'm not sure I could stomach another episode. We'll see

No idea. But I just know I've seen them somewhere.

And if you can't tell that damn near every scene is scripted and (poorly) acted out.....
I mean, hard to take it seriously when you see the people spending half their time looking off to the side, reading the cue cards next to the cameras.

Your guess is as good as mine…probably better.

Oh, I agree with you on the Nomad thing. The funny thing is, I could have sworn that I saw this very club with San Diego bottom rockers a couple of years ago. I'm not 100% sure of that, so don't anybody hold me to it.

My whole take on the Nomad bottom rocker is just me thinking out loud, and nothing more. I can't think of any other logical explanation except that they were told by the big dogs, "this is ok," and "this isn't."
