Been high 90's to 105 for the past three weeks in CO, along with all the fires, it's been damn hot here. Weather forecast for tomorrow is for the mid 70's, think I will need a coat!

Its funny, we have a big function tomorrow down in Chesapeake. Its 100 mile trip each way. I've made the ride countless times and always enjoy it. But tomorrow is supposed to be 103 degrees and its a Saturday. All it would take is a few backups on the Interstate (and in Virginia thats a guarantee) and your sitting there idling for God knows how long. I just bought this bike and I simply said NO! I'm not going to burn this motor up just to prove a point. Tomorrow, I'm taking my car.

Crap like that makes lane splitting seem like a good idea doesn't it . Can't imagine sitting in 100 plus temps in stop & go traffic with a twinkie as hot those things run .

I've been riding in this triple digit heat in stop and go. It's getting brutal. I much prefer the cold temps.

It's been 100+here for 8 days, i ride everyday no matter what the weather as long as there isnt snow or ice on the roads, but right now im thinking that would feel really good and i hate cold. Today it was 105 and riding towork i could see the blisters on my arms forming as i was riding, it was like being baked in a oven, i'm praying for rain for us and most of the whole country.

It was 100 degrees here in WI yesterday. Wasn't bad riding to my dealer 65 miles for my 15K. Only thing that sucked was paying $1.59 for a pint of water. Next time I'll bring a thermos or cooler along. And I am gonna get a 3/4 helmet.

When I was riding in Temps under 60, I didn't see many other riders. Now everyone is complaining it's too hot. And this is in WI, no traffic jams. Sometimes it is uncomfortable on my bike, but it is still more fun than a car. And I am getting a great farmer's tan this year.

Here in MO, it's been 100+ for the past week or so, I still ride but, I use the FF helmet to keep the hot air blast off my face and try to keep her moving. Not really all that bad and much better than freezing my **** off in the winter.

I hear you, loud and clear! Up until about 20 years ago, I lived in the Va.Beach area. Frequently traveled to Annapolis, Baltimore. DC, and Richmond, Manassass, etc. Back then, there was a clear, defined "gap between" of about 50 miles on 95 between the beltway and Richmond.

I still often travel to that entire area on business. And it seems like there's no gap between the two areas, one busy area just turns into the next. It's very common now for traffic to be very heavy between Richmond and DC. So much so, that you can't tell where DC ends and Richmond begins. It often takes two hours to go that 50 or so miles. And once you get to about the Yorktown/17 exit, 64 is just as crazy all the way to Suffolk.

But I'll add this... it sure can be pretty landscape.

Here in the midwest, it's been over 100 degrees everyday, for several days. No breeze, and high humidity. Summers here, are usually hotter than in the mid-Atlantic region. In fact, the heat-index has been around 110-115 degrees. Screw that, as much as I enjoy riding, there's no way I'm riding when it's this hot. Damn V-twin melting under your ***... how can that be remotely enjoyable? 'Bout like some tough guys walking around in a t-shirt when it's 10 degrees outside. Tough guys with snot-sicles.

It's been close to a 100 all week here in Ohio. Today is going to be 110 heat index. Like Riding a camp fire through a blast furnace.
