Leather jacket and chaps this morning. First time since April. Was 50 degrees here in central VA. Outstanding high of 78 (now) today. getting ready to ride right now.

Road alot last winter too. I had to bust out the jacket this past Sunday to go watch the United Ride for 9/11 (did it last year, no more group rides with strangers). It warmed up around 2 pm And I had nowhere to put the jacket. I hate this transition time of year.

Left out yesterday for a 100 mile cup of coffee. The DD is 2 miles from my house. I take all the back farm roads to get there. Usually 100 miles.

Threw the denim in my bad. Had on a long sleeve shirt. Half way into it I pulled over and put on the jacket. 97 miles later had my coffee and it was now dark. The 2 miles home felt like 50. It was cold. Been dropping near the 40's here.
