I haven't had to figure out that whole pesky filling up the gas tank thing yet!
When you are ready there are some really cool threads on gas caps. Very informative as the manual doesn't go into much, thats why I never bought the manual.
Huh..I hear ya, I haven't had to have mine changed yet either. So when you made the first 1/4 mile trip were you scared to pick your feet up the first time?
I rev mine up and put it in gear but haven't had the nerve to pick up both feet yet so I haven't left the garage. Luckily I have a riding mower so all my riding gear gets used regularly, well almost all, I never wear my full face helmet on the mower, seems like overkill, I just wear the skull cap.
**** man I've gone through 3 new pairs of boots because no way in hell am I picking my feet up, I must be close to 33 miles at least! Why does the lady at the Harley clothing dept giggle like she does anyway?!?!

Wait, so can we wave when we're filling up too (when I get around to filling up that is)?
All that *** kicking and you actually get it in the *****? WTF?!?!
I just don't know what to say...my badass took a break, so I'm just sitting here in the fetal position in a corner waiting for it to get back when it damn well pleases.

I'll man up... I'm ready for the mule kick now! *gulps*
I pull one of my Glocks out from my double rig shoulder holster and wave it at them. I'm just badass like that. Unless they are on a scooter under 100cc, then I fire off a couple of shots..Thats how real bikers handle a situation.

Engraved Rebellion: Inside Bundnerbike's Glam Rock II
First I thought this was just going to be a very eye opening thread on oil changing etiquette but it is really turning into something much more informative. Until today I wasn't sure what those flat things by shifter were for, I never realized I was supposed to pick my feet up! Is this something you do for an extended period of time, say 10 seconds or maybe even more? It seems so scary to me! Really all I got my bike for was to wash it in the driveway at least twice a week while listening to a Motley Crew/Poison mix tape I made back in 85. I will occasionally go out and rev the engine really loud in the garage but it always seems to make me so dizzy after awhile with the doors closed. I think I might be doing it wrong.
